Background
This animated music video was created for a competition for Ninja Tune and Signals Media to develop visuals for a track from the album 'Fire Shepherds' by Loka. The Futronica video was selected as one of the seven finalists.
The film tells the story of Goranda, whose daily routine and growing social isolation have led the people in his world to become increasingly distorted and indistinct. One morning, he awakes with the resolve to change his direction.
The actors were filmed against a blue screen before processing each frame individually. The backgrounds were created from photographs and 3d models, which were then also treated.
