History

Dedear Records was formed in 1993. Based in Hamilton, New Zealand during the 1990s, Dedear was involved with the thriving scene developing around the area. In 2000, the label relocated to London to continue the schedule, with periodic releases and organising nights around the capital.

Philosophy

Dedear is a self-sufficient and independent outfit, with a mostly random release schedule.

Currently Dedear is pursuing an online release schedule in order to make current releases as widely available as possible and at limited cost. If you would like to order physical copies of any current release please contact us.

Demos

Dedear Records doesn't have the resources to release a lot of output in a physical medium. However, we love listening to new music so if you want to send us any demos or direct us to any online audio feel free.

We're happy to share the results of our enviably discerning ears or perhaps direct you to other resouces if we can't help. If we love your stuff we might be able to assist you in distribution, either physically or through the net.
